emesene-crazy no more, road to 1.5

Is there any how to to get the latest development version? I did:

i got the revision 1766, but i guess it's outdated because there's no Facebook plugin for example... is this the latest one?

Well you got the version straight from the SVN which is here https://emesene.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/emesene/trunk/emesene/

My PPA is using BZR-SVN import from here https://code.launchpad.net/~vcs-imports/emesene/trunk

However the PPA has some extra stuff (including the Facebook plugin) which is NOT yet included
in the SVN. Hence the latest developement version and the PPA version are different.

can anyone make a howto to explain that on a sticky thread? this will really help new people to get involved

Since teh pplz are off vacation so we have a new PPA release r1421~ppa1 with an updated Facebook plugin.

I came across with this error, when I try to reject or add a contact, appear this..

User could not be removed: Server was unable to read request. ---> There is an error in XML document (4, 173). ---> Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx).

Every time it's the same story , and also, i've tried to put the lastsaid plugin but it doesn't work

Any idea?

It's a known bug, which has been reported months ago, but there is no solution yet.
Hope they will find a way to fix it soon cause i also think that it is the most important bug of emesene today.
