I've always been interested in MSN clients other than WLM.

I've also just finished learning python (not GUI, but pretty much all the other stuff), and am looking for something to develop so I don't forget python.

So helping out emesene is perfect for this. I'm eager to learn about complex, real life applications instead of just programming stuff like the huffman algorithm, duplicate photo search, and scripts for the source engine etc.

Maybe I missed it somewhere, as I quickly browsed through the emesene website, but where can I get started to become a contributor for the project.

Also as a side note, are there any sort of documentation for developers who are interested in the project?

Thanks

Edit:

Also I'm using Windows, don't know how I would execute the emesene script as I can't really chmod +x on windows.

Use this guide to use emesene svn on windows http://forum.emesene.org/index.php/topic,3054.0.html and start hacking whatever you want.

There's no documentation, if you need any help you can post on the forum or emesene's Dev mailing list and someone can help you.

Some day i'll make a guide to use emesene2 git version on windows, but for now it's only for emesene1 Tongue.
