Another thing: Conversation windows, with new messages, do not appear in red anymore.
Also, when you open a window, or you change between windows WebCam appears selected instead of the writing-box.

For the conversations, someone here added the smilies and formated nick support, so the header won't be red because it keeps the actual color of the nick. I'm not sure why it's not red using tabs (the tab label should be red, it doesn't have the smilies and color support).

About the webcam button taking the focus, it's weird... it was solved weeks ago Tongue. It looks like this bug has reborn (?) :/

the red bug shouldn't be related to conversation headers (!)

and the webcam focus thing is just karmic that doesn't want to update the package.. i guess we'll have to release a .2 soon so they wake up

As soon as a .2 can be released will be VERY GOOD!
and we need to make sure that Karmic updates it`s universe repo! There is a lot of bug fixes that needs to get in the Karmic`s repo (since I think the most users are using it)

and please! I don`t know who is the packager of Karmic`s repo, but...make sure libmimic will be compiled in it in the next release! =D
serious! It`s very frustrating having the "emesene version that has webcam support" and can`t use it! A lot of people tried to install libmimic0 and python-libmimic packages without having sucess lol (that happened to me T_T)

Due to popular demand, the new PPA revision 1639 was released for both jaunty and karmic. The PPA version includes the compiled libmimic, but it has not been tested.

Since there is a change of layout in emesene for Karmic Koala, expect some silly warnings when launching the updated software. Themes are to blame (but they work after being selected again).

.: emesene leet team :.

For emesene PPA add ppa:bjfs/ppa to your system's Software Sources or manually add:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/bjfs/ppa/ubuntu lucid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/bjfs/ppa/ubuntu lucid main

Into /etc/apt/sources.list and you can try emesene2, too!

no, you can't

you need to do "svn co http://<emesene's svn>" first to checkout the project in a folder, then you can svn up that folder

if you have the "/user/share" directory, you installed emesene using a repository, it's different from the svn system

the repository doesn't update as often as the svn version

Cool! Thanks, now I'll use the Svn version. I have the last one now, but I thougt that Libmimic was going to be compiled. Should I compile it by myself otherwise?
