My Computer Enviroment: XP Sp3 w/ Chinese.Trad
Emesene Version: 1.6.1 (installed)

Below is the bug i found, but i dont know whether is a bug?

i've set the directory for received files to :C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\桌面

but emesene saved file to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator

Is that a bug ?

another qestion i want to know is that why emesene can not tranfer files through drag&drop files to Conversation Window ?

I've never tried emesene on a chinese system, I've put some weird characters on the path of my user (accented chars, not chinese) and it worked right. I don't know if we have any chinese developer Tongue. I'll try to use a folder with that name to see what happens.

About your second question, we are not sure how to implement that feature, that's why it's not possible yet Tongue. Hopefully someone will implement it for emesene2.

Thank you.

And does emesene have "Auto accept file transfer" function or setting ?
Or would develop team consider implement this function ?

It's a hidden option (I don't know why, I've never saw that before Tongue), go to c:/Documents and settings/Administrator/.config/emesene1.0/your_account, open the file "config" file with a text editor and look for line "autoAcceptTransfer=0", change from 0 to 1 and save it, log in and it should be enabled.

my steps:
1. Close Emesene
2. open "config" file
3. Add "autoAcceptTransfer=1" at the last lin then save file and close it.
4. Reopen Emesene.

And i found Emesene will auto-delete that line.

my Emesene version : emesene 1.6.X RC1 (IPROMISEWEWILLRELEASESOON) "mate

Can you try with emesene 1.6.2? that's an old version. Anyway, I never used that option (just saw it looking when you asked for that) so I don't know if it works as it should Tongue. I'll look the code...

EDIT: you don't have to ADD the line, you have to change the line that's already there with "autoAcceptTransfers=0". You have 2 config files, one on emesene1.0 and another on emesene1.0/your_account, you have to edit the one on your account. It works perfectly here.
