Hi all.
I realy like the conversation theme in Ubuntu lucid Emphaty theme (ubuntu 10.04 Tongue)
But I don't like emphaty anymore Tongue Because Emesene is a lot better then Emphaty.

I've already a lucid theme but i can't find anyone for the conversation Sad
I've tried something bij myself but I can't make it Sad

So my questions are:
1. Is it possible to make?
2. Can someone make it or give me some advice how to make it?

A lot thanks for the answers!

note: Excuse me for my bad English. I hope you can understand it Cheesy

Can you post a screenshot of an empathy's conversation?

To see how it should look.

Those are webkit themes, emesene2 will support those themes, emesene1.x won't.

If you meant just the distribution (message on the left side, name on the right side followed by the time) I don't we can (I really don't know if we can set different justifications (right/center/left) on one single line of text).

okay. I will explain what i like and want to see:

  • Those clouds where the text appear.
  • The avatar next to it
  • The time and name doesn't need to be on the right side.
It would be grate if the name can be above the avatar.

I hope that this is possible Cheesy

But it only work on emesene2?
I hope it would work on 1.6-dev Cheesy
Because this one works good on my ubuntu computer.
I can't get emesene2 work good on my computer Sad

I hope that my explanation is good enough Tongue

Oh. And again excuse me for my bad English Sad
I'm dutch and not really good in different languages Cheesy.

I'm pretty sure it (adium themes) will never be supported by emesene 1.x, as it's already done in soon to be released emesene 2.

If 2 isn't working good in your computer, you may file a bug in http://github.com/emesene/emesene/issues or http://forum.emesene.org/index.php/board,20.0.html.

I think i just wait until the final release.

The only points i have are these:
The user-list look strange. you see html tags like <strong>
Can't add any plug-in
It crash sometimes (I'm not sure about this point)

But I think I immediately need a new version. I can wait for version 2 Cheesy

1. Getting rid of html tags should be easy one.
2. You can't add plugins since there aren't any for 2.0 right now.
3. About crashing, you should run emesene from terminal, see if there's anything related to crash and post the output to github or emesene2 subforum.

Please, don't try to live with emesene2, it's not even beta, just use it if you want to contribute with code or bug fixing...
