emesene 1.6 - "mate" has been released!
With loads of bugfixes, gui awesomeness and the new year here comes the new release of your beloved msn client:

    * Improved gui usability
    * New preference window (arielj, ukblacknight, nicolaide, mehd36)
    * Implemented nick and personal message roaming (pablo)
    * Fixed tons of bugs all around the code (we're too lazy to write 'em all)

This time, even if the changes are big, the changelog is very small: while we make emesene better we're looking towards emesene2 (if you're not reading the blog, do it!) and we need all your support in order to bring our beloved program to a new level

You can cooperate with the emesene team in any way you want:

    * New features
    * Bug fixes/reports
    * Plugins
    * Translations
    * Themes
    * Support to other users
    * Spreading the word

Eso es excelente, veo que se ha reparado en esta versión la toma del nick tal cual se quedó en la sesión MSN y no el nick de la cuenta passport. Eso ya lo esperábamos muchos. La nueva ventana de Preferencias tambien se agradece la re-organización, así como todas las mejoras.

That is why I choose emesene. It is a MSN client truly under development and people always find it being updated with new features !

Because there are no downloads for Windows version 1.6?, bad links for windows-installers.

It would be good give better support for the Windows System and more languages.

Awesome new release!
Shouldn't you have waited 2 more weeks tho C10uD? arielj had a few updates to submit but had no time to do so before leaving.
Emesene2 is long, long, long, long months behind 1.6 and is gonna take long, long, long, long to catch up so if it will ever be able to do so, this version is so much to the liking of most users already (IMO) and emesene2 has to go through all that all the way from the start... 1 more reason to enjoy and make 1.6 better every day! ^^

I Installed the previus version a week ago, but I started having some problems (little bugs, like the "add contact" problem or the Nick Saver fix)

I want to upgrade to 1.6, but when I downloaded it it doesn't had any .exe

Should I replace my actual folder with the files in 1.6?


Forgive my ignorance, and my bad english. I'm From Argentina
